Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Alfredo, I experienced an unexpected tranquility that was quite refreshing. Nestled along the serene lake shore, the hotel boasts expansive views from the balcony of my spacious, albeit slightly dated room. While the decor may benefit from refurbishment, I found the comfortable bed and peaceful ambiance conducive to relaxation. Although my time was limited, the hotel's amenities, including a swimming pool and a large garden, certainly piqued my interest for future visits. I envisioned indulging in their spa services-facials and body treatments-after a day of exploring the stunning Nordic scenery. The multilingual staff displayed remarkable friendliness, even welcoming me with a smile despite my late arrival at 1 AM. While the breakfast was adequately served, and coffee delightful, I felt the price point reflected the availability of 24-hour reception rather than luxury. For those seeking both comfort and serenity, Alfredo presents an appealing option. Just remember, this establishment is not marked as a five-star destination-one must manage their expectations accordingly.
